Type /Library in the text box and press Return. Click on the Finder in the Dock and then select the Go menu and Go to Folder or use the Command-Shift-G shortcut. Note: Do not attempt to uninstall Java by removing the Java tools from /usr/bin. Go to your Applications folder and drag Android Studio to the Trash. To uninstall the JDK on macOS: You must have Administrator privileges. Putting the app in the Trash alone does not remove all the other service files that come bundled with the app: cache files, temporary files the app needs to run, installation files, preferences, saved states, containers, and so on. Follow them below in order: Quit Android Studio if it’s running.
